Alvington is on the edge of the Forest, and half a mile from the banks of the River Severn. Historic Chepstow, with its racecourse and golf resort, is at the foot of the Wye Valley seven miles away. Lydney is 2 miles away, Coleford eight, and Bristol is a 35-minute run across the Severn Bridge. This is also a handy place to stay for the Cotswolds, the Cheltenham Gold Cup and the Millenium Stadium at Cardiff.

We have a large annexe to our house - 5m by 5m with ensuite - where we provide a bed and breakfast service. More....
